Organized by ASTEC with support from the Dept. of Science & Technology, the scientific excursion “Bijnan Jyoti Jatra” ran via a hired train from Guwahati to Kolkata visiting Science City, Birla Planetarium, the Botanical Gardens, Tatanagar, Durgapur, and other labs, with competitions and exhibits aboard the train.
