Participated in a scientific excursion.

I had the opportunity to participate in the Bijnan Jyoti Jatra organized by the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) with support from the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

The scientific excursion ran from October 3 to 7, 2010, beginning in Guwahati and traveling by a special hired train to Kolkata. Along the way, we visited Science City, Birla Planetarium, the Botanical Gardens, research labs in Tatanagar and Durgapur, and many other scientific institutions.

The journey was not only about site visits but also featured onboard exhibitions, science competitions, and interactive activities, which created a vibrant learning environment. It was an inspiring experience that deepened my interest in science outreach and education.
